Formed in 1986, Springtime Maintenance Services was the brainchild of Mrs. Vijaya Adyanthya. A Bsc in Microbiology, Vijaya obtained her masters in social work from Nirmala Niketan College of Social Science, Mumbai.

With the aim of helping the underprivileged, she worked in villages to try and improve the general standard of living found there. She was appalled to notice that a number of diseases were being spread due to the lack of even basic pest control measures. It was at that time that she read ‘Silent Spring’ by Rachel Louise Carson. Thus Springtime was born.

Using her knowledge in microbiology, she started working with the municipal corporation to control the spread of diseases by way of reducing the pest population. However, she soon realized she was not making any headway. It was then decided that Springtime would shift its focus to the corporate sector instead.

In 2002, in order to increase its market share, the company decided to focus not only on the big corporations but other sectors as well. Since then, we have been providing pest control services to a number of sectors including residential, corporate, entertainment, retail and education.

In 2009, one of our employees Mr. Vivek felt the entrepreneurial itch. He wished to start his own venture and settle down in his hometown. However, a lack of funds and clarity as to which avenue of entrepreneurship to invest in prevented him from doing so. We decided to set him up as a part of Springtime in his hometown and so Vivek become our first franchisee.

Springtime Maintenance Services has come a long way since its first office in Koregaon Park, Pune. We now have 5 franchisees, 300 employees and over 200 clients. Our business model and determination to always add value has ensured satisfied customers.
