Fly Control
Flies are carriers of germs that cause several diseases. They are a common nuisance in and around households, restaurants, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, sweet shops, dairies etc. At Springtime, we recommend Surface Spray, Space Spray, Traps and Bait which are quite effective in treating common houseflies. Fly treatment also depends upon the size of the area, both inside and outside the home or place of business.

Cockroach Control
Cockroaches can now be controlled using a gel. Today, gels have replaced foul-smelling and messy insecticides. The primary advantage of this method is that there is no need to empty drawers and cover up food.
Method of TreatmentSmall amounts of gel are applied in strategic locations, such as electrical control boxes, kitchen appliances, computers etc. with the help of a syringe. The sole component of the gel is a new class molecule. The dosage required is very low and it works by attracting cockroaches, which die after consuming it. Once the cockroaches eat the gel, they infect others and help get rid of even those that do not come in direct contact with the gel.

Spider Control
Spiders are a common menace and usually thrive on other household insects that are attracted to light and fall into their webs. They are most likely to be found in the ceilings, windows and corners of a room. Spider bites are painful and can cause serious swelling leading to nausea, vomiting, etc. At Springtime, we undertake a long lasting spider control treatment that involves spraying of insecticides in large volumes. The spraying activity is repeated frequently to eliminate spiders and the nests completely.

Lizard Control
Lizards are a common household problem whose removal can be tricky and troublesome. Their presence is both intimidating and at times they may be poisonous. Lizards can be controlled by traps which bear a scent that is detectable only by these reptiles.

Honey bee Control
Honey bees are protected insects and therefore we advise you to take proper care to control them. Our technicians at Springtime are trained to replace/remove them without harming the bee population. To ensure safety, it is imperative to wear the proper outfit before undertaking bee hive removal. It is important to keep in mind that honey bees are pollinators and need to be protected.

Silver fish Control
Silverfish are small, wingless insects measuring normally 20mm or less in length. The name comes from its silvery blue colour along with a fish-like appearance and movements. These pests damage synthetic clothing such as cotton and wool. They also eat paper and glue. Silverfish are considered to be a nuisance as they can cause damage to clothes, books, etc. They are usually found in cracks and crevices in and around bookshelves, linen presses and wardrobes. Silverfish can be controlled through the normal spraying of insecticides.
The following are other ways to control silverfish.- Mend leaking pipes
- Eliminate standing water
- Use Silica gel bags
- Use a dehumidifier in an air conditioner

Mosquito Control
Mosquito control is a serious public health practice all around the world. In India, mosquitoes spread several diseases like malaria, dengue and chikungunya. A systematic inspection and treatment involving the following activities can successfully eradicate mosquitoes.
The following are other ways to control mosquitoes:- Source Reduction
Apart from insecticides, eliminating mosquito breeding areas can be an extremely effective and permanent way to reduce mosquito populations. Source reduction can be achieved by emptying water from containers, by removing unused plastic pools, coolers, old tires or buckets, clearing clogged gutters and repairing leaks around faucets, regularly changing water in bird baths, filling or draining puddles, swampy areas, and tree stumps. We also advise the public about potential mosquito breeding sites during routine inspections which can be acted upon by the local facility management team.
- Larviciding
Mosquito larvae can also be controlled by larvicides, growth regulators and surface films. These are applied at potential mosquito breeding sites such as open drains outside the buildings. We recommend the monthly application of larvicides for better results.
- Adulticiding
The following methods of Adulticiding can successfully obliterate mosquitoes from your surroundings:
- Fogging - Thermal fogging is one of the most effective mosquito control method for outdoor areas. It involves a ground-based or aerial application of chemical pesticides. The frequency of the treatment depends on the intensity of the problem.
- Spraying (NEW) - We undertake intensive spraying of insecticides on the walls of buildings. The insecticide is colourless, odourless and completely harmless for human beings. The mosquitoes die once they come in contact with it. Spraying is effective for a period of 2 to 3 months.

Insect Control
Household insects can hamper day to day living and cause other problems such as contamination of food, etc. We at Springtime utilise several kinds of insecticides that eliminate household insects and keeps them at bay for a few months. We recommend frequent checks and spraying of insecticides for pest-free living!

Rodent Control
Rats and mice are the most widespread and clever of the rodents that rely on man for their survival. They cause food contamination, resulting in chronic diseases and epidemics. Though rat prevention measures like poison and traps are available in the market, they don’t work effectively most of the time. Rat control thus becomes a very difficult problem and requires the attention of a qualified pest control operator. Springtime specialises in controlling rats by a systematic study of rat behavior. Our rat control measures operate on two levels:
- Elimination of existing rats
- Prevention of future infestations

Bed bug Control
Bed Bugs are closely associated with human bedding. They usually hide in the seams of mattresses and cracks of the bed. Bed Bugs rely on blood for survival and feed on the bed’s occupants at night. Bed bugs may also hide in other areas of the house like cracks in the furniture and crevices in the walls.
Bed Bugs can be effectively treated by spraying insecticide, at all possible places of infestation. Treatment takes half an hour in a 750 square feet house and has to be repeated in 15 days.

Termite Control
Termites can rapidly and silently damage valuable household property. Termites infest and breed underground in the soil. They invade households by building mud channels through the minute cracks and crevices in the foundation and walls of the building. You can get an indication of termites by such marks in the walls of the house.

Wood borer Control
If you notice white powder in your wooden cupboards, then you most likely have Wood Borers. This is caused by the Powder Post Beetle which is commonly called Wood Borer. They are very destructive and turn precious wood into dust. Wood borers are about 4mm long and dark brown to black in colour. They lay eggs in cracks or pores in wood. The egg hatches to become larva, which build tunnels in the wood by eating it.
We use the medical syringe to inject pesticide into the Wood Borer's hole, as there is inbuilt air pressure in these holes. Because identifying each hole is a meticulous process, it is done in two treatments with a frequency of 15 days.

Snake Control
Snakes can be a real menace in and around residential complexes and their treatment should be handled appropriately. Although there are no sprays for snakes, at Springtime, we recommend repellents that are quite effective and long-lasting. The repellent is simply sprinkled on the grass and acts as a fumigant. The odour of the repellent repels snakes and keeps them away for several months.
